I babysit a little kid named Miranda she is about 9 years but anyways we play board games or random kid games like hide and go seek. IF you have the money for it take them out for ice cream or McDonald's or wherever they want to go to, to eat dinner. Also, a tip is never ever never ever, scream or shout if they are a real pain that just makes matters worst, and an idea is maybe you can have a scavenger hunt all set up for them if you want?

Don't go crazy. Teach them a game they can play in backyard, then sit down and watch. Give them snacks to shut them up, If you have energy read them a book, play with them, when you get tired put on tv. After an hour turn off and take them to playgroung. Run around or sit on bench up to you. Outdoor sports will be fun and keep you from going nuts.

memory games, hide and seek, finger painting outside if possible or on kitchen floor so as to have easy clean up. bring a few children's movies from when you were little maybe they have seen those. make up a game for them. create a scavenger hunt in their House with things they know. who ever finds everything on their list first get to pick the next movie or game or something. its almost eater so make House out of graham-crackers and white frosting add food coloring and use peeps. to make the eater bunny's house. good luck and remember just make it fun.

If it were me I'd make sure they bring favorite toys or dvd's if they're coming to your home. If you're keeping them at their home just be a silly kid, but at the same time make sure they know you are in charge. Have fun, play games with them. Ask them to show you how things around their home works & tell them how smart they are & they'll think you're great.

Get down on their level. Play cars and read books. Find out if they can have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and let them help make it. Good luck. You just have to connect with them.
