And yes or no, do you think 9/11 was an inside job.

And yes or no, do you believe aliens have landed on Earth.

And yes or no, do you believe Elvis is still alive.

OK when a dozen newspapers went back and did a "recount" Bush still won depending on what was counted as a "Gore vote" - basically if there was a vote for Gore AND a vote for someone else on the same ballot and that was counted as a Gore vote, then and only then did Gore "win."

On November 12, 2001, the New York Times reported:

Even under the strategy that Mr. Gore pursued at the beginning of the Florida standoff — filing suit to force hand recounts in four predominantly Democratic counties — Mr. Bush would have kept his lead, according to the ballot review conducted for a consortium of news organizations … The media consortium included the Times....

So, is the NYT part of the VRWC?

This isn't a matter of opinion, it's a matter of fact - they DID recount all the ballots and BUSH STILL WON. They also recounted just the ballots that Gore wanted recounted and not the ballots Gore didn't want recounted and BUSH WON THEN TOO.

No. If the Democrats did then why aren't they pushing for a law to do away with the electoral college?

No the Radical Islamic Hoard of murders are responsible for 9/11.

Elvis has officially left the building.

As for Aliens landing on earth, some people on the site have an uncanny ability to morph into different people so I am undecided on that question.

First, I'm not going to just say yes or no; get over it.

Yes, by preventing tens of thousands of democrats from voting in Florida, Republicans stole the 2000 election.

Dunno about 9/11 being an inside job -- I've picked up suspiscious bits here and there, but then Bush looked like he was going to be spanked any second (which points the other way, of his not knowing about it).

No. We've not been visited by aliens (or at least, there's no credible evidence we have).

No, Elvis died quite some time ago.

And, to your implied question, no, I'm not a fruitcake.

Edit after reading your additionals. Before Election day, Republicans wrongfully removed Democrats from the voter registration rolls. When they showed up, they were not allowed to cast ballots.

Yes, and no to the rest.

Not only were there problems with the electronic voting machines registering impossible tallies, but there was systematic disenfranchisement of thousands of demographically Democratic voters being purged from the rolls, for no good reason.

HBO had an excellent documentary on this, "Hacking Democracy." In addition to showing how easily an electronic count can be compromised without a trace, they showed how election officials, when under court order to produce actual election tapes, produced bogus documents, and then, when the people who got the court orders confronted them in a meeting, more workers were caught, on tape, WHILE THEY WERE TALKING, sneaking boxes of missing documents (that they claimed were lost or didn't exist) out the back door and into the dumpster.

Remember, that what happened in Florida with the voter rolls went to court, and Jeb Bush agreed to undo what he did, because it was improper and illegal. They still haven't done it, but it has been admitted, for the record, that it was wrong.

If you want to visit the court decision, how the Supreme's went against their own individual arguments and precedents both in even hearing the case, then the specious arguments they made to stop the count, we can do that as well. Keep in mind that when they issued the decision, they went out of their way to rule that this was SO special and unique that this decision could never be used as legal precedent in any other case. Think they knew it was crap and didn't want it to come back and haunt them?

The real question is: Why are you still in denial about this?

Do not be absurd, bush won by much more than the real count, the commies tried to steal the election and if al had just shut up they might have gotten away with it.

9/11, you have to be kidding right. the evidence is clear on who did, why, and who they are associated with, to deny the facts shows a lose hold on reality. to begin to heal yourself from this delusion you will need professional help, paranoia is a dangerous disease.

I have not seen any proof of aliens, although I often hope they pick me up first and teach some mind tricks I could use to correct americas socialist nutcases.

Alas, poor Elvis! I knew him, Horatio: a fellow
of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy:

Is that the guy you are talking about?

Have a wonderful day!

I usually ignore these type questions but just for the fun of it, I'll go along with you this time. Yes, the election of 2000 was stolen. No, 9/11 was not an inside job. No, aliens have no need to land on earth, they just walk or swim across the border. Yes, Elvis still lives in the hearts of his fans. You lost 5 points, I gained 2.

The 2000 election was not stolen (despite Gore's best efforts). 9/11 was not an inside job.

Think about it. You're telling me that the same administration that so miserably mishandled Katrina is somehow capable of masterminding 9/11 in such a sophisticated manner, the entire world would be duped by their misdirection? You've got to be kidding me.

How did he "steal" the 2000 election? He would have had to *know* that it would all come down to FloriDUH. He would have had to get Jeb in place - oh, and Katherine Harris, too. Are we supposed to believe that the Supreme Court decided the argument in Bush' favor because we made sure Clinton would appoint the right people?!?

Some people are just bat-**** crazy.
