The plantiffs atty doesn't have information. The claim administrator doesn't have information. The company we are suing will not talk to me. I need help. This is dragging along at a snails pace. It has been 6 months already. I want to go to the local press. Will that help? I need help.

The case hase already settled. the amount has been approved and all we are waiting for is the defendant to cut the checks, which is taking months, literally it has been 6 months. The "order granting final approval of class settlement was filed by the plaintiff in 2/07. I checked the case online and that is the last step taken. Is there a step after that? Thanks!

I agree with the person above. Class actions take a long time.

Potentially, if you go to the press, you could end up disclosing information to the opposite side that could be prejudicial to your case. Just something to think about.

Patience.

Class action suits depending on size can literally take years to litigate -- 6 months for any type of lawsuit is nothing actually. Patience is a virtue.
