Okay, so someone who lives at my house has a bathroom. In that bathroom there is a toilet. On that toilet is a toilet seat. Okay, so you have me so far? Over the course of the last year, the toilet seat has developed a faint purple stain that conforms to her butt and legs, and it has gotten worse and worse. This is a two part question... (One), what in the heck caused that? I mean, I am really weirded out. I am willing to guess that it was caused by the dye in her pants mixing with the oils in her skin, but that seems a little out there. (Two) How do you think I get it off? I was going to give softscrub a shot soon, but any help would be appreciated. It is one of those nice, solid toilet seats, so I don't really want to go buy another one, especially if her purple butt is making more butt shaped marks....

Has she bought a lot of new pants in the last year? I have taken off new clothes at the end of the day to find that the color has stained my skin or undergarments a bit, so it's plausible that this is the cause.

Try the Softscrub first. It sounds like she's a tenant or some other temporary resident, so maybe just go out and buy a cheap toilet seat for the duration of her tenancy. You should be able to find something for less than $20, and then you wouldn't have to worry about whether or not the stain comes out.

Get rid of her she is an alien. LOL (I think)

This is odd to say the least. But back to the real world. Grab some sandpaper and sand it smooth, then get a spray primer and spray the seat, let it dry and then spray a finish coat on it. Finally, I would put a clear coat of polyurethane varnish on it to keep it from happening again. Just don't get a gloss finish on the poly, you'd hate to see people slide off the pot.

Ok. its already very weird that I even answered this question but if you are really serious then here is my suggestion....
If you don't want to buy another one for fear that her purple butt will leave it's mark again on a new one then try scrubbing it with bleach. Put the bleach in a spray bottle and spray away!

LOL Why dont you just ask her if she's purple under her clothes. Actually could it be that the material the toilet seat is made out of is purple itself? Other than that I have no idea. It's pretty funny though.
