Unfortunately, no president will ever be a sheer success. If his domestic policy is great, his morals are bad. If his morals are good, his policies are weak. The only thing we can hope for is a candidate who says what he thinks, and does what he says. That is the only way to ensure a good leader.

It is clear that the RIGHT person for the job will never make it past primaries. To lead the US, you must FOLLOW the majority opinion, whether it is right or not.

No one can really answer your question. Before Obama came on the scene, I had given up hope. If you listen to how Obama speaks, there might be a little hope for you as well. If he is elected there might very well end up being a President who has succeded in knowing what us Americans want and hopefully carrying through what has actually been promised to us for once in our lifetimes. Otherwise, I have given up on all politicians. We have sadly become a country divided in this day and age. Many people have become tired of that and have lost hope.

Not if he/she/it is a Republican or a Democrat.
The two major parties have sold thier souls to the special intrests and Israel.
Democracy is dead as long as either is in power.
