I am not sure about liberals unless you are talking about socialists who hide behind what they see as a socially acceptable label.

Socialists come in two basic types. First there is the Vanguard of the Elite, all of the folks that view themselves as important to the improvement of society, make a lot of money and know for a fact that they are propagating lies, but the end always justifies the means, and as the elite they will get to keep their status and money once the country falls. They have NO SHAME AT ALL.

The second type are the ones who feel like somewhere along the line they screwed up in life, got the shaft, but refuse to take personal responsibility for it, they blame others, the man, the establishment, the military industrial complex, white men, conservatives..........you know, the list is endless on who these idiots blame for their personal problems, but they buy into the socialists theme that we should SHARE the wealth, they want some of that free stuff.........you know the type, all races, generally make less than $100K and have had no real successes that they can see in their lives, they consider themselves okay but deep down inside the feel like losers.

They also have very little shame, this is the type you see predominantly on Yahoo Answers, they spew the party line, listen to all of the correct sources of information according to the party and basically are pushing an agenda where they believe they will get something for nothing.

Finally I forgot the idealist, you know dreamer, the one who wants to correct societies wrongs by giving stuff to people, you know level the playing field, and they believe in what they are doing. This group is most often young <40, female of all ages (the mothering type) and they represent less than 1% of the socialists. They most often believe they are liberal, sort of delusional and have not yet come to the realization that there are two distinct philosophies in life, you get something for nothing, or you earn what you get. Sort of a personal responsibility thing.............these people have shame but their ideals will not let them publicly admit it.

BTW, they are really socialists/communists so why does everyone keep calling them liberals?

Not concerned about wrecking others' lives and dreams. Oblivious or indifferent to the devastation they cause. Does not accept blame themselves, but blames others, even for acts they obviously committed.

Tends to move around a lot or makes all encompassing promises for the future, poor work ethic but exploits others effectively.
