and are they happy he let his aide take the fall so to speak for bringing the weapon to the halls of Congress. The aide spent a night in jail with no comment from the Senator.

I personally have no problem with the Senator packing a little heat but was it very noble for him to let his poor aid sit in jail all night?

What could the Senator be afraid of? Certainly not the terrorists...he supports surrender in Iraq now. Maybe it is the people who hate his novels. They are pretty bad.t

Not personally following the foot-steps (as it were) of Sen. Webb, when I was watching him on Fox News this A.M. he just seemed very nervous. If that is true coming from a known Liberal Senator, mmmm, to much Kool-Aid perhaps ?? God Bless America !! And that mean ole' President Mr. Bush too ! And " Mr. Unfrozen ", for throwing rocks at glass intelligence !!

Its my understanding that he was on his way to the airport and forgot he had the gun in his pocket. I don't know why he had a gun in his pocket but he gave it to his aide so he would be able to board the airplane. I assume, since Webb was boarding an airplane, he wasn't available to get his aide out of jail.

Webb has a distinguished military history and his son is currently serving in Iraq.

Liberal hypocrisy. Typical. Feinstein carries a .357 concealed but she won't let her constituents get concealed weapons permits. More Liberal hypocrisy.

Don't protest him carrying a weapon. I protest him not taking responsibility for his own weapon.
