Many, many, many hours.
I didn't start the main quest until I was a level 26 or something like that. I'm currently a level 38. I prefer magic, but I'm also goods with a long sword. I'm a High Elf.
And now that I have the expansion pack I have another 30 hours to play!!!!

For me....Oblivion took me about 4 str8 days....total....
I finnished the whole thing at level 16
I used a dark elf
And i prefered blade
*This is all not including shivering isles that came out today.
