Don't worry. i had surgery on my arm, and TRUST ME, ITS OK! They gave anethesia and all i remember was them pushing me out of the room i was in! the next thing i knew, I was in the recovery room! but you know whats weird, i just fell off my bike a few minutes ago, and hurt my leg. I cant even tell my mom cuz she will be mad! I feel just as scared as u and and am actually crying now. so don't feel alone!

I had to have surgery some time ago on the base of my spine.

I was terrified. I've never had surgery before that. I'll be completely honest with you.

They will put you under. (to sleep). Once you're asleep, you wake up all of the sudden and it's over. You won't remember or feel a thing. The only thing that kind of sucks is that while you're a asleep, they'll put a tube down your throat. That tube is so that if for some CRAZY reason something should go wrong they can just hook a machine up to breathe for you and keep you alive. But that never happens unless they're operating on your heart or something.
When you wake up, they'll have already taken the tube out and your throat will be a little soar. That's the worst of it.
They'll give you a sprite with a straw and after a few sips your throat will feel good as new.

That's it!

Relax, it's not that bad.

To be honest, if they put you on anesthesia, you wont feel a thing. My mom's doctor told her to count backwards from 10 so they can see when she goes unconcious and she got to 7. Then after the surgery, she woke up and said "6..5..4..I don't think its working." So you will be FINE.

My sister smashed both her wrists on a rope swing. She was fine after they'd been sorted. Don't worry, you'll be asleep and I can promise it won't hurt anything like as much as breaking it in the first place! Talk to your doctor, explain how nervous you are, he'll run you through the procedure in detail and ease your worries!

ok first of all. . .calm down everything will be fine and second it won't even be as bad as you think. . . you probably won't even remember much. . you just go they put you to sleep and you wake up a little later and BOOM it's all done. . .so yeah the recovery time will probably be annoying but obviously if it's brooked now it's already annoying, right?

Relax. You will either be sedated or totally numb in the wrist. If they numb you, the first needle prick will be the worst. Don't be afraid. You'll be all healed before you know it!

You will be just fine - the surgeon operating has probably done it a hundred times before and you will be out of it under anaesthetic. Please don't worry, you'll be OK.
