Does anyone know if a Will made in New York is registered and available to the public after it's been proven? I'm asking as someone in Europe not familiar in any way with the American legal system.

I assume the decedent has died. At that point, the executor must filed forms with probate office. Try to contact the Surrogate Court to see if any petition for probate was filed.

It's somewhere in the record, but not easily accessible to you.
You'd most likely have to actually know what court it was in and to request it from the court.
Do you think you might be in it? They'd have to notify you. Or at least make an attempt. If you know the executor, you should content him and let him know where you are.

well before a will can be admitted into probate it must satisfy the requirment of executing a valid will. For every state in USA the requirement is different. And Registered? you register wills in New york.
