My choices are an online intro to political science or (in a class not online) principles af macroeconomics. Have you taken any of these? How were they? I would take the online poly sci class, economics does have a good bit of math.

Hope this helps,

Jennifer

I took macroeconomics in the summer after failing it during the regular sessions. It wasn't a lot of math and it wasn't that it was all that hard, but it was boring to me and a lot of work with a full schedule. The summer let me focus and get in and get out quickly. I ended up getting an A over the summer. It was just as hard as regular session, but I had more time to focus. I was an ed major (now graduate) and didn't really need economics but had to take it so it was the perfect solution for me.

you know what my friend took macroeconomics and she hated it and she wants to be a finance major. I would suggest just take economics honor or AP economics in school. I took the honors and we did nothing in our class except watch movies. Our hwk was a research paper on every Friday thats all. other then that it was the most fun class I have ever taken. we all passed with like A's. if you want to be a biology major then take something with science. maybe physics. because well i don't know I hate it and I would take it in summer and get it over with.

Yes, there is math involved in economics. If both of the classes are required four major, just pick one at random - it won't matter because you'll have to take the other one eventually. If both are only extra classes, choose the one you think you'll enjoy more (if that's possible). Get opinions and feedback from others who've taken those courses at your school.

Go for economics. You will find that more advanced courses in population biology in fact have a lot in common with aspects of economics.

Whichever you're least interested in, take in the summer. The classes are shorter. You don't want to spend a whole semester on something you hate.
