but it also can't be consistently maintained. so isnt the idea that your reality is an illusion is a false beleif. you cant KNOW that people exist but it CAN be shown that the beleif is self refuting and inconsistent.

so is the ONLY reason skepticism cant be refuted is because you cant actualy escape your subjective perceptions? yes or no?

Skepticism can be eliminated.

It can't survive proof.
You aren't actually captive to your subjective perceptions,unless you are trapped in the realm of some institution.

Yes.
The 5 senses determine our experiences in the world. The 5 senses exist within us, not apart from us. If I lose my sense of smell, I can no longer have an objective experience of smell.
Therefore the objectivity we experience is an illusion. What appeared to be objective was actually experienced subjectively through our senses. Switch off the senses and you switch off the objective world.
