He is playing Les Battersby, his character does things which are a lot worse than mouthing off in a restaurant. If his contract says hes got to keep quiet in restaurants then fair enough otherwise. Keep on rockin all over the world Les.

It was a family restaurant, think how you would feel if some drunken idiot, famous(and i use the term loosely)or not, started carrying on and being abusive in front of your children.I agree with you about the press, they are scumbags, but this doesn't excuse his behaviour, corrie bosses have suspended him for revealing plot lines to the show, one being how the Tracy saga ends,he is contracted to keep his mouth shut where that is concerned, also being a celeb doesn't give you the right to be abusive to anyone,he isn't any better than anyone else.

The sad fact is that the press are only giving the public what they want. There is nothing sells a newspaper more than a story of a celebrity (or a royal) behaving "badly".
People put these people on pedestals & are then surprised to find that they are just normal people with normal failings just like the rest of us.

He were given inebriated and revealed plots, did not he also slag off a number of his co-stars? i'd be imagining that area. His personality Les Battersby is operating as a roadie for an unnamed band, they have suggested it quite some cases.

well people in the public eye know that the cameras are always on them, the press never miss a thing,

The press, are interfering busy bodies and need to be sued for the amount of people they have spied on and brought about their downfall. (even when not guilty)

Yeah next thing you know they'll be sacking people on tv for being self-seeking money-grabbing fame-addicts with no genuine personality to call their own. And then almost all tv will stop.
