g strings are literally a string in the back were as thongs are a small strip of fabric. so basically thongs have more fabric g strings have less.

Nope. G-strings have strings EVERYWHERE, if you catch my drift, but a thong just has the single string going up your butt. They're actually pretty comfortable! <3

yeah kinda. except g strings usually just have "a string" that lays on your crack. thongs can have a thicker strap. or even one thats skinnier and gets thicker the more it goes up your back.
