I don't think that NCAA has ever seen the same match up for basketball and football. Who wants to see this matchup again? Who thinks this will happen, and who do you think will win?

I think this matchup will happen and I also want it to happen. Florida will win it all. There is a reason Joakim Noah, Al Horford, and Corey Brewer turned down NBA millions to play another year of college basketball. Only 2 games from winning it all, I simply can't see Florida being denied. They are very balanced on offense with all their starters averaging in double figures and having reached 1000 points for their college basketball career, they are experienced, poised, and can play stingy defense. When opposing teams are playing Florida it is a matter of pick your poison. You can double their bigs, and then get beat with a barrage of 3's like Oregon did or you can play the outside tight and allow the bigs to dominate from inside.

My prediction: Florida ends the Buckeye basketball team's season the same way they ended their football team's season: With a loss to the gators!

Florida wins 76-63

I think UCLA will be much tougher on Florida this year because they are better overall than last year's team and play arguably the best defense in the country right now. They just beat Kansas by 13 despite 25 turnovers- if that's not a great defense then I don't know what is. I'm picking UCLA for those reasons (and b/c Joakim Noah is a punk) but if Florida is able to play the inside-out game that they excel at, then they can get the W.

I think Ohio State has to be the luckiest team I've seen in a while in the NCAA's. Two teams (Xavier and Tennessee) have outplayed them and were beaten due to poor coaching and lack of poise in crunch time. Memphis also folded up as soon as OSU turned up the wick down the stretch. I don't think they can rattle Georgetown so easily in crunch time...So I like Georgetown if they jump on OSU early and/ or if Conley and Lewis are not hitting but I like OSU if Georgetown gets lulled into OSU's tempo like Tennessee and Xavier did.

Once Ohio State gets going, and if they manage to start out hot then its very difficult to beat them (they have started cold every game this tourney) If Ohio State plays Florida in the championship then they will be pumped. All of the hype from that game in January and the game earlier this season against Florida will motivate OSU and they will steamroll over Florida, they will come out to fast and to hard and Florida wont know how to handle it.

This is for the post right before mine,
Dont worry everyone just an angry longhorn fan, mad that Durant is leaving and texas is going to fall back down into nothing in basketball again... Sorry man dont be so angry all the time.

You can't tell me that Georgetown's not going to win, Ohio State will have no matchup for the Green/Hibbert matchup and UCLA will get revenge on Florida, Noah is overrated, and like I said before this is Georgetowns championship to win

This is the expected matchup as the top seeds should beat the lower seeds

Similiar situation in football will be the outcome though. Florida this comes in as the favorite though as defending champions but it will be Ohio State as the underdog who beats them but not as badly as Florida beat Ohio state in football.

I agree with another poster who said it will be UCLA vs. Georgetown. I'd actually hate to see this matchup, because of Noah (trannie), Donovan (smug prick) and Ohio State (their fans came down to Austin to play the Longhorns in football and they were the ugliest, dumbest, pieces of **** that do not reside in Oklahoma)

Hah, I'm not angry that Durant's leaving, good for him. I'm just pissed that we lost to OSU last year in football, cheers.
