my BF is 18 and I'm 22. Too big of an age difference? It isn't an issue to either of us, his parents have always approved - it just happened that way. Feedback please!

It's not too much of an age difference, in my opinion, and if it's working for you, it should be fine.

NO nothing wrong with that age difference. I have a friend that is almost 22 and her BF turned 18 not too long ago

FOUR YEARS? Difference? Honey, if you think that's a big difference then maybe you need to look at Michael Douglas and Cathering Zeta-Jones... or Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart... or Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher... the list goes on.

oh! h*ll babe if you think that is a big age difference you gonna be totally shocked at me. I am 59 and my partner is only 27, I going to get some stick for this but we love each other. Just read veronika's answer and that is what my partner says, age is but a number not a barrier to love.

That's not enough of a difference to even have an issue about!! When you start talking 10 and 15 years difference, then worry.

Are you kidding me: You guys are perfect for each other--I personally think it is romantic when an older guy and a younger guy form a relationship. So there is nothing wrong with the age difference--plus age ain't nothing but a number, but true love is everlasting!

Not at all man. I am 27 and talking to a dude who is 41. I don't care about age. Acutally he did at first, but he is coming around. Age is nothing but a number.

Well I turned 23 today and my bf is 20. Really doesn't matter. I know it might feel weird at times but who cares! Just as long as the both of you are happy thats all that matters.

Good luck my fellow cougar! roar;) lol

It may be somewhat of an issue at your ages, but as you get older, age does not mean a thing. I think you are close enough in age that it won't hinder your relationship. Best wishes.

That's sweet.
But, hey!
I'm a 23y/o student, my wife-to-be is a 43y/o professional... that's 20 years difference in every sense of the word, not just age.

Age is just a time line, it's there for reference, it doesn't affect your feelings.
