No, becasue the presence of a bacteria would not REMOVE the presence of the pregnancy hormone. It's either there or it's not.

yes it will. the bacteria messes up the test and can cause a false negative. My friend diddnt find out she was pregnat untill 2 and a half months because she tested with a bladder infection. her doctor told her the same thing, and did a blood test..it was positive. Ovulation tests where you pee on the stick detect hormone also, and those will also read negative if you test with a bladder infection. It doesn't mean the hormone is not there, just that the bacteria messes it up. it even says on the box. so short answer, yes. it can cause a false negative. if you think you have a bladder infection, get a blood test.

No, the bacteria causing the infection does not have HCG in it. Therefor, you either have it in your body or you don't. Antibiotics will not alter it either. Once again your body is either making HCG or its not. Either way good luck. By the way....it is extremely common to get bladder infections when your pregnant :)
