One source told me Sept-Oct but another source said it is too cold then. What is the average temperature in Sept-Oct?

June is an awesome time to visit. It is still hot but not as crowded as July and August. You can show up on the island and find a place to stay without any worries. Prices are also cheaper. I have been twice, once in June and once in Sept. And we are heading back this year in June.

Depends what you want. If you want peace and quiet then end of May beginning of June is very nice. The place has people but it is not crowded and wild. If you wan wild the July/august is the time for you.
