Well, our baby does not want to let us know what it is, so we have decided to just let it be a surprise. I have a daughter who is 5, but am having trouble thinking of a way to do the room so it's a boy/girl theme. I am not interested in Pooh bear as I see it too often, but what do you suggest?

Here are some ideas:
Noah's Ark with all the animals
Blue, white, yellow w/ducks
Sesame Street
Pastel colors like light green and light purple (no need for a theme)
Under the Sea (fish, beach stuff, etc.)
Teddy Bears
Snoopy or Peanuts
Bunnies
Zoo animals

It depends on how artistic you are. We are doing a mountain and nature theme. I am painting a snow covered mountain on one wall, and a grass (spring mountain) on the opposite wall. the side walls will have grass transitioning to snow. We have a sky, clouds and a sun....if it is a girl I will hang some butterfly's from the celling (garden ornaments). If it is a boy you can hang leaves, frogs and bugs from the celling (garden ornaments as well). use cup hooks to attach them to the celling, and white string of lights for stars.

Dr. Suess! And you could have quotes written on the wall! Like "I do not like green eggs and ham! I do not like them, Sam I Am!" I'd be a great way to encourage reading!! :)
