Under extraordinary medical circumstances, human males have taken on an implanted fetus. I remember one such report last year.

Obviously it is rare, and done by medical implants of endomitrial tissue (to make an artificial womb), and hormone therapy.

Will it become commonplace -- I think not.

sure, men have babies all the time. it just requires a female to accept their sperm ;). In seahorses, however, the female squirts her eggs into the male's sac where he fertilizes them with sperm and actually gives birth.
