Probably, most people that have abortions are;

1. Poor; which can cause people to steal because of their socioeconomic condition

2. Unable to raise a child, Bad oparenting is the leading cause of juvenile crime behibd peer pressure.

The data tying birth rates of poor people who wind up in prison on a repeated or permanent basis are not fully supported by an examination of the numbers of abortions in the US.

Granted that the logic is solid. Fewer poor and disenfranchised children without proper family and community support do tend to support the belief that there will be fewer people entering a life of crime.

But one must go one step further. Add the positive effects of birth control to the figures and one could begin to understand the nature of how overpopulated the country is already.

If the reactionaries and pseudo-religious people would step aside and take their ignorance with them, perhaps we would really begin to value life again.

Simply stated: Don't want an abortion? Then don't have one or cause one.

Don't want a criminal class? See the answer above.

We still have crime and abortion. I guess they should check to see how much crime we had before abortion clinics popped up everywhere.

it may reduce the crime rate if you only abort the babies that are going to be criminals in the future. so... you have to not abort the babies that are going to be doctors, engineers etc. how can you tell which one is which though?

It's helped New York City. A wise man once said that single mothers are raising future criminals.
