Your 3 mos old is NORMAL.
Night waking it TOTALLY normal at this age.
Especially if you are breastfeeding.

All babies are different. My first was like this and his doc had us put the rice cereal in his bottle, didn't seem to make a difference. My second slept through the night, waking only once to eat from the day he was born.

How much is he eating before bed?

Put a teaspoon or tablespoon of cereal in her formula on the last bottle of the day. If you are nursing it is normal that it takes a little longer for them to sleep through the night.

it is normal. my daughter was really small at birth so at 2 1/2 months the doc and health nurse told me to start giving her cereal in her bottle at night. she started to sleep longer for me. when she was 5 months she started to sleep all night. it takes time but you and baby will start to sleep all night and things will be back to normal.

yea-every baby is different.
does your baby eat formula or breastmilk? if breastmilk--your baby wont ever sleep through the night, breastfed babies just need to eat more.
Something that I learned though-babies need 50 calories a day for every pound they weigh a 10 lb baby would need 500 calories a day. each oz of breastmilk or formula is approx. 20 calories.
just put your babies weight in and multiply how many oz he will need during the day--try to feed him more throughout the day so that most of what he needs is taken care of in the daytime--he wont wake as much at night then

(yes--it DOES work!)

I have a 4 month old. Try giving him/her a bit of rice meal (made for infants) with the milk or formula before bed. This helps them digest a bit longer than regular.

They all do things when they're ready, not when the MDs say they are ready.

Give him a little cereal at bedtime - that's about your only hope.

You didn't say how much he drinks at each feeding. It could be you need to increase the amount he is feed.
