Seems ok to me, gonna get a bit of getting used to I guess.
I know a few people have said to me that it looks like a Euro note, suppose it does? but as someone has already said, whats the problem as long as it is still worth twenty quid?

One of the main reason for the change is security, of which this note has quite a few :-

Paper - forges can have a waxy feel to them, this is crisp.
Text - quite a few wording and symbols are raised.
Hologram - Larger than previous, swaps between a pound sign and 20.
Metal strip - appears dotted, but complete if held up tothe light.
Pound sign - looks broken, but complete when held up to the light,
Microlettering - the letters below the queen can only be seen under a magnifying glass.
Other? - apparently there are other security measures not yet publicised.

I think the next prime minister ?has designed his own £20 pound note,
to remind him of his childhood in Scotland.

Hmmm, the note's ok, but after that eeejit and the budget I seem to be able to buy less with it

I think its nice, looks alot like a scottish note.

I think our goverment is trying to get us used to a Euro format...... to help us get used to the proper Euro note in a couple of years time ;o)

it reminds me of the time i went to Scotland, eerie resemblance to their £20 note

Didn't have any problem with the old one .... When I got some out of the cash machine last week I thought they'd given me Scottish money!!!!!!!!!!

It definitly looks and feels like Monopoly Money. I change them as quickly as I can - even when I have already got change.
