It was hair that suddenly became depressed with its long haired hippy life and trying to be cool. So one day it had an epiphany!!! I can shave my hippy hair and donate to some poor kid with lukemia and then my life will have meaning. After this he also decided that his new look deserved a new name, hence the name, "Shave Ice."
