are there any improvements the giants can or should make with some trades?

Good Luck... The Giants are not going anywhere, anytime soon. It will take at least a year or two for the Giants to actually compete again in the NL West. All they got this off season was Barry Zito. THATS ALL. They tried hard to get Soriano, Lee, Manny. Nope! Nothing happened. Who fills the outfield anyways. Does anyone know. Alou is gone to the Mets. Oh yeah. The Balco guy, Barry Bonds. Does he even play in the outfield or he stands there waiting for his next at bat? GO DODGERS !!! Now thats an improved team. We'll take the NL West.

Getting Zito was excellent and Cain should turn into a number one starter eventually. The bullpen is not so good...Benitez is horrible at this point...they need to trade for a veteran closer like Chad Cordero

Our starting rotation is one of the best in baseball right now!!
The bullpen, I think will come around!! Benitez is pitch good in spring training, if he can keep it up the whole season, we'll be talking World Series!!!

The rotation could be dynamite, at least very good. The bullpen will be a liability.

Coming from an Orioles fan who watched Benitez fall apart, hope that something happens that makes someone else the closer

Mediocre at best, if your hitting is as good as it should be and there are no injuries you should finish around .500
