This is a science question and I really need help with it. so give me good answers.

That varies depending on the bird. The basic answer is that they migrate to somewhere that provides them with a resource they can't get where they are. Many birds migrate north in the spring so that they can breed in areas where there will be a lot of food to feed their babies, and lots of space where they can nest. Then they migrate back south in the winter so that they can spend the winter months in areas where they can find food.
