I think you will definitely grow a little more. My doctor told me that girls tend to do the most of the rest of their growing within the two years after they start their period. Anyway, you shouldn't always believe the doctors either- my doctor told my mother when I was young that I was going to be about 6 feet tall as an adult (my dad's real tall) but now I'm 5 2, older than you, and done growing almost definitely. :-( Oh well you are lucky- you will probably be 5 5ish if I had to guess!

There is really know way of telling if you will grow anymore and your parents height might not be even close to your height. If you really want to know the answer of how tall you will be ask a docter and they can check your growing chart.

You might grow more, but don't count on it. My mother's 5'2", my father's 5'6". I have some tall grandparents, but I only reached 5'1" and that happened when I was 13. I haven't grown since.
It's not so bad being short. I used to hate it, but now, I find that lots of things are more comfortable because I'm small--like airplane seats!
Good luck.

OMG!! i have the same problem!! I'm 14 too and I'm 4'11 and almost as tall as my parents!! its just genetics i think. That's what people tell me. People ALWAYS pick on my about my height and I just have to deal with it sometimes. Don't worry about it that much because although you have started your period your still growing!!!

you might grow a couple of inches, and you can help your metabolism by engaging in physical activites, eat healthy and sleep at least 8 hours a night. According to this chart you might grow to 5'5".

I don't think you are going to grow anymore. I didn't grow at all after I started my period.

Since you are still young, you may contuie to grow. Doctor's can only predict what your height is going to be based on parents and such. Don't worry about it.
