a lot of pressure is on the returning champs... seems like the heat will make the playoffs and wade has opted to re-hab his shoudler rather than under-go surgery (on the opposite end, ray allen just opted for surgery and he is out the rest of the season)... if rehab goes well; wade could be back for the playoffs (1st/2nd round)... obviously he will be a little rusty and may not be the force that he was last year... what would be amazing and what would cement his legacy is if he came back and took the heat to the eastern conference final; or better yet, to the NBA finals.. and take home another ring...

Wade is preparing himself to be as healthy as possible for the playoffs he might play a game or two to end the season with the heat but the smart money is not until the playoffs if at all this season. He will most likely have surgery in the offseason and by doing that he will miss the start of next season.

Right now, it is not for certain if he is coming back. It all depends on how his rehab goes, and if he feels that he is ready for the high level of competition in the NBA. Wade will probably return by the playoffs, but honestly I don't think he should. He shouldnt rush his injury.

According to Yahoo Sports, Dwyane Wade has decided, with the blessings of team physician Dr. Harlan Selesnick and the renown Dr James Andrews, to spend the next two weeks rehabbing his shoulder to see if playing this year is possible. Should the rehab not work, then Dwyane would have any necessary surgery.

So maybe this year.
Probably next year.

Based on the extent of his injuries, I would be surprised if he would be game ready before the second round of the playoffs. The Heat can probably get there without him, but they definitely cannot with another championship without him.

We don't know and we don't care. The main goal of the heats right now is to play well and they are doing it. I am sure if wade comes back they going to stink because they want to let him get his stats.
