Just for fun. To see what kind of crazy answer they get! I do it when I ask qauestions. I seem to get more responses to those ones than the serious ones.

It's called socializing. A way to get to know people and to meet others. You may find an answer that peeks your interest and follow through and get to know the person who answered a "meanless" question.

It is almost as good a my opening line. . .

I personally only ask questions that take more than just a modicum of thought, and require some intense soul-searching, to answer, so I don't know what you are talking about!

Perhaps that makes me a rarity, on YAHOO!Answers...
