Go to your local dentist and ask to buy some algernate (the stuff they use to make molds of your teeth). They'll give you a package of powder, and you can mix it up according to the directions. If they give you a choice, get the mint flavor. It leaves your face feeling all tingly-fresh :). Algernate sets in about 30 minutes, so don't make it untill you're ready to use it.
Place a paper cone in each nostral so you can breathe while the algernate sets. Get a friend or two (or more) to help you by pouring the algernate over your face and then laying some strips of gauze or fabric over the top, followed by another layer of algernate, repeating untill the coating is fairly thick. Have them make sure to really get all of your face, the sides and forehead and everything. You should try to lay as still as possible while this sets, so it can really get an acurate impression of your whole face.
After you've sat for a half-hour, peel the algernate off. You should have a 100% acurate mold of your face! Pour Plaster of Paris into it within an hour or so, and you have the perfect plaster cast of your face. Yay! Algernate shrinks when it dries out, so make sure to Plaster of Paris soon. Or I suppose you could wait and make a cast of your face in miniature.
Algernate is toatally safe for your skin and completely non-toxic if you accidentaly get some in your mouth or something. It doesn't smell that funny, and it provides a great goopy time. I don't really know about starch (for paper mache) but it seems to me that this is WAY better.

Yes, plaster of paris you can buy at the drug store. Or use a flour/water combo to make a paste and use newspaper strips to make paper mache. Like making a pinata of sorts. Take several strips of news paper and you may want to dampen them with the mixture. Then lay over your face and have someone continue "painting" them with the paste. It will need to be quite thick to allow the newspaper to set well after you remove it.
