I need to know how to go through the officers to get in Saffron city

now iam a little rusty on this but iam 99% sure that u have to go to a building like a big one like a skyscaper go to the very hightest place on it the roof and buy milk or soda or some drink form the vendor on the roof.then you give it one of the officers (notice how when u try to get past them without the drink they say IAM SO THIRSTY lol good luuck hope iam right

you need to but water, lemonade, or soda in Celadon City in the big market and then walk past the officer. then they'll take the drink and you'll get through.

first, you need to get to celadon city. when you're there, go all the way to the top floor where there are vending machines. purchase fresh water or something and then once you pass by the officer, he will allow you to pass. (make sure you have the water when you get to him)
