I personally think that a wig is a hat. It's a hat with hair. Don't worry though your school won't consider a wig to be a hat. You won't get in trouble.

usually at schools they relieve the exception for crazy hat/hair days. You should definitely be fine wearing a wig. YOu should still be fine with a hat as long as you take it off during class. THis is what the rule was made for.

A wig is not a hat. But you will get in trouble probably if you wear it tomorrow. They just dont want you to wear anything on your head.

A wig is not a hat. It's a fun accessory to have. Secondly, because I used to be a school principal, I wouldn't reprimand anyone for wearing them because some people (as you may know) have to wear them because of health issues etc. You don't have to advertise you're wearing one however. Just make sure it's tasteful (not brightly/multi-colored--you know, something you'd find in a circus somewhere!)

Actually no. Even though both are wore on your head.... someone can tell if you are wearing a hat...not always so much with a wig...
