That is a hysterical question, considering it was the Bush/Cheney compassionate conservative party that put fear into the people so that they could start a war with Iraq. Which by the way, they were not nor has there been any connection between Iraq and Al Quida.
I don't know what fears and emotions you are so concerned about, but maybe you need to take a moment and just listen to the other side before judging it. Goodness knows we have been getting the "conservative" rhetoric from every media venue in huge doses the last 6years.
