In the state of Texas, you can lodge a bond for the total amount of insurance that is required by law in lieu of carrying insurance. I don't know if this applies in other states. We have a way of doing our own thing around here!

Yes, they are required to purchase a minimum level of liability insurance.

Every one is required to at least have a minimum coverage or purchase a bond to cover.

not here in california. anyone, millionaire or illegal allien, can post a bond in lieu of securing insurance.

In California it doesnt matter how much money you have it's the law to have insurance
