I dont really know if I would feel confortable with a male Gynecologist.

I've had 4 gynocologists over the years, 3 from the same office and only one of them was a male. Of the 4, he was my favorite, but the other two women from his office were great. I guess you really have to find a doc that makes you comfortable. To be honest, the male doctor was the best for me because he was funny and seemed very open-minded and understanding of the fact that I was nervous about having to be there in the first place and about being examined by a man.

I've never had a male Gynecologist, honestly. I have only ever had female ones.
Is this because you're HMO/PPO health plan doesn't have any female Gynecologists in its network?

I can't even imagine concidering a male Gyne otherwise, and even then...I'd travel the distance to find a female that was in my plan network.

I always choose a woman for the simple fact that she probably knows more about women's bodies because she has the same parts and possibly felt the same things so I feel that a women would diagnose me better than a man.

i like you you bring up a good point.but i would examine you myself all over.and then wash you all over with soap and wash you inside your private area with bubble bath.and make you all bubbly.
