Would you take a job that only paid about 10.25 an hour, full time, even though you graduated college, regardless of what you major was in college?

It depends on how badly you need money but I think that work experience of any sort can give you a good start and there is no reason why you have to stay there. You can look for other jobs at the same time.

I took a low wage job straight out of University and am still on less than graduate salary but at least I can afford to eat and have a roof over my head.

Almost everyone makes a sad wage right out of college, $10.25 is nothing to sneeze at. Take the job, and build whatever skills you can there while you look for something in your chosen field.

Well, if you are only taking the job to make ends meet, and would pass it up for something better, then you should probably make that known up front.

If something better comes along, your employer will already know of your intention.

Who knows.. you may end up really enjoying it and manage to make a living with that company. Raises are always good too.

Yes. Eating every day and sleeping indoors is still a high priority in my life. It will show your next employer that you have the grit and the initiative to do whatever it takes to succeed. As opposed to sitting a home, waiting for the phone to ring.

Yes, it's better than $0 you would be earning with your college degree. Unfortunately a decent paying job is just one of the luxuries we have to give up so that "they" may have a better life.

depends on how bad you need a job i can almost guarntee there's something else better out there for you, unless you live in BFE, I have no degree and make 35k (close to $20 an hour), and if you do take it keep looking for something better.
