Orlando Sub 500 team for 2 yrs with Shaq, until Anfernee Hardaway came out of Memphis. Los Angeles was a team full of stars for 3 yrs then Kobe showed up, the rest is his..story. D-wade was already a star when Shaq joined the Heat, thats why Pat Riley & the heat would give up everything except wade when they traded for Shaq.

Let me clear a few things up first. Shaq did not have 2 losing seasons before Hardaway came to Orlando. The Magic went 41-41 Shaq's first year in 1992-93, then Hardaway came along in 1993-94 and they won 9 more games. Second, it took Kobe 4 years to become a respectable secondary scoring option next to Shaq, then the rest was history. And last Wade only average 16 points a game before Shaq was traded to the Heat. He's averaged 24 points or more since. If your trying to say that Penny, Kobe and Dwayne are responsible for Shaq's success just say so. With the exception of Dwayne Wade, Shaq carried those teams to their winning records and Finals appearances. You could pair Shaq with Vince Carter, Gilbert Arenas, Jason Richardson, Ray Allen, Kobe Bryant...I think you get the point. Shaq would have a ring or 2 paired with any all-star guard.

No one can win it alone. By the way, they were a 500 (41-41)team, not sub 500. I think you're asking the wrong question. The fact that he has been on three teams that has won or made it to the finals speaks for itself. Shaq's rookie year, the Magics won 20 more games than they did the previous year. Next year when they drafted Penny, they won only 9 more than they did the previous (Shaq's rookie year). Lakers were one star away from championship before Kobe, he was that x-factor (and more). Personally, I thought they still could have won it with Eddie Jones if Kobe never showed up. As for Miami, I was shocked, shocked that they won it that year. D-wade came out of nowhere during the previous year's playoffs when he was playing with Lamar Odem. I think Miami surprised everyone.

He would, Shaw is so dominate that he could make a superstar out of anyone. Dwayne Wade was never supposed to have the status that he has, but Shaq helped him improve and helped created "The Flash"
