Ofcourse!!!! it won't get better by itself. I don't really know if you have rabies, but a doctor will know.But go right away since you said the wound is swollen cause the infection is setting in.

you should have consulted a doctor immediately after that incident.
atleast now rush to a doctor.
after a dog / cat / fox bite if u survive, wash it immediately with lots of water. water should keep flowing. then clean the wound with antiseptic liquids on the upper part of the wound.
consult a doctor.. don't waste time

Any animal bite should be seen by a doctor for at least a tetanus shot. Highly unusual to say the least, to be bitten by a fox....extremely rare.
