Thats sad! I was in the Marines and I wouldnt even bother picking 9/11. 9/11 could of been avoided. We knew it was happening. Its just that every agency in the Goverment has jursdictions. So nothing much could be done without interfering with the other agencies.

The quake and tsunami was by far the worst for all the lives lost. Hurricane Katrina made people lose Material things which are replaceable. And 9-11 was a montrous insurance headache.

The quake/tsunami of Indonesia was so terrible & so painful & sad to see so many poor people being swept away to their death & no one could help them & i'll never forget how they suffered
& hurricane katrina was wicked as well
but they were acts of nature & if warnings were in place things may have turned out a lot better!
but 9/11 was deliberate & planned by jealous cruel hateful people so I would say for that reason you would have to pick
9/11 because it changed the world as well
not just America the world

I don't know for sure if I could pick any one as worse than the other but we cannot dismiss the severity and ramifications of 9/11 - -even if the government had any inkling of what might happen --even if some think it could have been prevented, that does not lessen the catastrophic and heinous nature of this terrible act of terrorism.
So many lives were lost in all 3 disasters but with 9/11, we were attacked and that has changed the way we live and look at things in our country forever.

Probably the tsunami. The people had little chance of previous warning. 9/11 on the other hand was an awful event. But we as Americans were so convinced that we would not be attacked, that the whole incident took us by surprise. 9/11 may not have happened had we assessed our enemies and kept tabs on them a whole lot better than we were doing. In part, it was our fault, but it was still very sad. I do have to say that it brought our country together, and we are now more patriotic as a whole.

The quake/tsunami was terrible killing so many people but could not be helped at all unfortuanately. The terroists attacks on 9/11/01 were done by mindless cowards and a very evil deed of murder on thousands of people by these heartless maniacs. These murderurs had a choice and they chose to kill in the name of their religion and the reason why we are at war today. They must be defeated and 9/11 must never be forgotten in our hearts and minds. Katrina was also a natural disaster and could not have been prevented at the time it occurred and it was unfortunate and sad.

I honestly can't say one is worse than the other they are all horrible situations. I hurt more on 9/11 because my brother is one of the ones who died in tower 2 but I can't say my pain is any worse or better than anyone Else's. the tsunami and the hurricane were natural occurrences 9/11 was just pure evil and hatred. In all 3 situations precious lives were lost and someone somewhere will never stop grieving.

Definitely the tsunami. It hit practically all of Southeast Asia and killed way more people and ruined the lives of over 300 million people (the size of the whole United States). No doubt it was the worst. It killed over 230,000 people where Katrina killed less than1,900 people and 9/11 which killed less than 3,000. I think that makes the Tsunami way worse.

Well.....they are all terrible, but I am going to say 9/11
because Katrina and the tsunami were natural disasters..and 9/11 was on pre-meditated terrorist attack !! That is just my opinion!

911 has to be the worst because it was caused by lunatics from another country willing to kill innocent people for no other reason than to be favored in the after life. People who hate enough to kill thousands of others are evil. A natural disaster can not compare to the evil in men and tragedy that they brought to our country. People come together after a natural disaster. In this case, they brought war and segregated the entire muslim population in some form or another. Natural disasters are beyond our control. 911 is infamous and should always remind us that we live in the free world and we must always be grateful for our freedom and thankful that we don't live in the middle east controlled by insane clerics and religious zealots.
God bless America
