My wife and I will celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary in July. I am looking for romantic ideas - something that shows her how much she means to me. Something like surprising her with a limo and taking her out to a fine restaurant...... but that's just too boring.... I want to start the month off like giving her a gift each day..... roses.... all leading up to the 'day'..... (23rd)... but what else...??? I am starting this early enough to plan for it....

give her clues that lead her to figure out whats gonna happened. So like give her a stopped watch at the time one month, then like a teddy bear dressed up all fancy to show that its a fancy restaurant, then a toy limo to show that shes gonna be picked up in the limo, then a menu from the restaurant...esc

but dont give her the gifts, let her find them on her own.

also assuming ur gonna have an "after party" get her somthing sexy to wear..make her wonder

Lucky, lucky woman. Is there a music concert she'd like to attend? What are some of her favorite things? Music? Books? Flowers? Colors? Places? Dreams? Goals? Desires? Can you build on any of those things to let her know you are thinking of HER and all the reasons she is special, not just to you, but to the world? I'm sure you'll come up with something most splendid. Congratulations, and best wishes for many more loving years together!

well seeing that you are celebrating 19yrs then you must have good memories somewhere along those 19 yrs. well for each day of july until your anniversary you should write on a piece of paper good/great moments you and her had together and then on certain days you can put maybe some roses, chocolates, little teddy bears, lingerie and stuff like that with some of your notes then on the big day.... you gone have to wing it cause I am all out of ideas. ( a fancy hotel with spa treatment, dinner, champagne something mad fancy should do the trick).

what about a marriage/vows blessing? you could do this privately (why not something abroad on a beach with just the two of you) and have a party for your family afterwards as well if you want, or have something locally and invite everyone? does she have any special interests or charities that she is involved in? you could maybe sponsor/name something on her behalf. or, sounds a bit weird but went down well with a colleague when her husband did it, but he did a "treasure hunt". he spent ages working out what her favourite make-up, perfume, clothes, shoes, etc were and went and bought all these items and wrapped them up and hid them around the house and garden and then left notes with clues. by the end of it she had everything she needed for a perfect special night out, in her case to the theatre (of which she was a fan of and he wasnt but endured the night to please her) and she was chuffed! just an idea.......congrats to the pair of you by the way!! only hope mine lasts as long...!!

I don't know your budget - but maybe catch a big show (from some one you liked 19 years ago) in a different city than yours - like Prince in San Francisco or Gwen Stefani or Daryl Hall and John Oates somewhere.

Check Ticketmaster - see who's in Vegas.

Something cheap, and save up for the huge 20th anniversary bash. Just give her a tease this year, then knock her off her feet next year. I don't know where you live, but take her somewhere she has NEVER been before.
