Well if they can get hurt from it, then I will stop them and correct them or if there is a possiblitie of some major damage to equipment, but otherwise no.

Well, if the mistake isn't going to harm them then I'd probably let them make it. I'm thinking really about my two 'children' who are adults now.
I just remember at their age wanting to do what I wanted to do. I was brought up with a lot of 'shoulds' so I tend not to 'should' people along!

depends on the mistake. If it is a dangerous one i would tell them. if it is a life learning lesson i would let them make it.

Depends on the person and the mistake. If it's my granddaughter and she was in danger I'd intervene. If she was doing something like overfilling her water glass I'd take the opportunity to teach her from that messy lesson.
