People who use commas when they should be using semi-colons; that's what really gets on my nerves, grammatically speaking.

As an English teacher, it gets on my last nerve! I feel that so much texting and im'ing has made us abbreviated communicators and horrible spellers! My students actually use the abbreviations b/c and u, etc. in their essays, on which I immediately slash a red mark across and make a frown face. Another irritation: using "your" for "you're", as in, "Your invited to a party." OMG :)

Yes, it's like they have no brains or education. Even someone with a high school education knows the difference between those.

When people abbreviate every little thing, to where the message is hard to read; but yeah, I also hate that thing with the it's/its deal.
I don't think there's any more grammar freaks in the world like us anymore...

I hate when people talk like this : " du u know ta way tat ur supose to speak? Cus like dis suur aint ta way ta speak." It annoys me how people say "tat" and "ta" and other slang words. I can't imagine how they sound/speak in real life!
