Gina, sorry for your loss, i can't imagine how you feel but love and big hugs to you xx
my breasts leaked for about two weeks after giving birth, i never breast fed
i think i bled for about 5 weeks after the birth, but the doctor said i was bleeding for slightly longer as i never took any bed rest, or sat down still for any longer than 10 mins at any one time.

Hi Gina, sorry to hear about your loss xx There is medication available via prescription to dry up the milk so your breasts stop leaking. Your doctor should also have booked you in for a DNC ( a currette) to "clean you out" thats usually what they do if there is a miscarriage or loss of baby to get rid of any excess "waste" from the loss. All the best Gina :O)

im so sorry for your loss of your little boy, i no what your going through i lost my little boy last year 21/3/06 i was 26 weeks pregnant.he only lived for barely 7 hours. my breasts stopped leaking after a couple of weeks i did the silly thing of expressing once cause i couldnt take the pain of them being so full and tender. my advice dont express at all bare with it, they will stop leaking. it upset me so much that i had all this milk and no baby to feed. i bleed for about 3-4 weeks it was heavy at first but after a few days it got lighter. shouldnt be long before it stops. again im so sorry

sweetie all my hugs tough times eh xxx can take a couple of weeks for the hormones to settle down and tell your boobs to stop producing. do not express leave them alone and they will become hard and maybe tender but will settle down of their own accord. take care and all my prayers for you all. bleeding may also take a couple of weeks as flushing out, sounds terrible but necessary for your body to regenerate. avoid strenuous activity, hoovering etc, take some pampering time, and please stay smiling not sure of circumstances but your body is obviously ready for this miracle to happen again so if you are still planning dont give up hope it may happen sooner than you think.
