Friday might be kind of cool, since people like Fridays. I wonder if anyone has done this (other than the Addams family).

i think a day of the week is kind of weird, except maybe Wednesday. but there are some names after months and seasons that i think are cute, like:
april
may (or mae)
june
august
summer
spring
winter
i even knew a girl once named Stormy!
Friday might be a cool name i guess. it would be a pain in the butt going through elementary school, but she may grow to like it when she gets older. like my name for instance. i'm named after "Gone With The Wind" (Katie Scarlett) and i hated it when i was young and kids would make fun of it because it's not a typical middle name like "Lee" or "Kay." but now i love my name because it's different and has a story, unlike my roomie whose middle name is "Lee." =D

Friday is actually a great name for a female.
See the book of the same name by Heinlein.
Since the days of the week were named after gods why not go with; Thor if it is a boy in honor of Thursday.

I went 2 school w/ a girl named Tuesday... she was popular!
I went 2 school w/ a girl named April, August, Septemeber and a girl named Montana.
It's your choice but just 2 name your kid Friday b/c its a day most ppl like isnt a good reason!

I have a friend her name is Tuesday, I like the name . I think its ok to name your kid after a week/or a month..I have 2 other friends name June & May..... I named my daughter April.. Some people say its not ok but then again its your child/children....

I don't think I'd name anything after a day of the week. Maybe a pet, but that's a pretty slim chance.
Besides, those words are way common because people use them all the time.
In the name sense, these names are so uncommon that they'd be made fun of.

I don't think it is such a good idea, although it would make kind of a cool name. I don't know anyone with this name, but i think when she gets to school years, she won't really like her name. I would try it as a middle name.

I probably wouldn't. But if you like that name, do it if you really want. I guess the kid might get bugged, or people might think it's cool. It wouldn't be that bad having a name like that.

I think that it would be weird to name a kid after a name of a day. of the week. I know I definitely wouldn't do it.

Maybe after a month like June or April but probably not a day of the week. I would be really mad if my parents named me Thursday.
