Boohoo. and the senate just passed a resolution today saying we have to withdraw by next March. But neither will be signed into law so stop crying.

and for the record, the members she had to bribe were dems that didnt think the bill got us out of Iraq fast enough.

I also have to ask, are you really against hep for Katrina-affected businesses, citrus growers whos businesses were destroyed in freezes, spinach growers who were found to be totally law abiding but were almost put out of business by the e.coli spinach scare last year, and you forgot the biggest item, $500 million for fighting forest fires.

those things are all terrible, huh?

She wanted to win a vote that would make a statement about stopping the Dictator Dumbya Big Lie Iraqi Crusade. She lost enough House Democrats who were NOT satisfied that the bill that passed was STRONG ENOUGH against Dictator Dumbya. Anything is better than "Stay the Curse".

"Democrats will not disappoint. We pledge to make this the most honest, ethical, and open Congress in history." Nancy Pelosi.

If she would have said she was going to bribe other House members to push her Liberal agenda then screw over the American taxpayers she may not have been elected. But at least she would have been honest and I could have respected her for that. But she chose to blow smoke up my rear end. In other words, it's status quo so it's no surprise.

It proves how unpopular losing the war really is. She had to do some pretty heavy arm twisting, as well.

Chump change compared to the 500 billion we've already spent in Iraq. What's your point?
