I just dropped a pencil on the floor while sitting here at my keyboard, but I didn't see it hit the floor. I spent three minutes hunting it before i spotted it under the desk. Always happens that way, right?
NOPE. I dropped the same pencil 20 times in a row, from the same height, but different angles, and WATCHED it hit the floor. While i was WATCHING it landed RIGHT WHERE I COULD SEE IT EVERY TIME!!! hits the floor stays put. don't watch it, and it rolls 2 1/2 FEET and hides!!!

Its uncanny ain't it? I know what you're saying. That's happend to me too. Its like where the heck did it go? Like it vanished into thin air or something. I HATE when that happens.

Estamez (if I got that right) is correct: Men can't find stuff a lot. No wonder I can't find my pencils, notes, schoolwork, and other stuff. I AM A BOY! That means males can't find stuff if they don't see it... or something like that!

Get yourself A CAT, then you won't have to worry about it. The cat will always find the pencil, freeing up your time.

funny you say that. my spouse CLAIMS that men can't find things if they aren't moving. Kind of like the hunt and gather mentality. The animal has to be moving in order for you to watch it and wait for you to make your move. So by his definition it makes PERFECT sense that you couldn't find it because it wasn't moving.
he attributes that to not being able to find the remote, his medicine, his shoes...and all those other things men can't find.
