Okay,so I am labeled prep at my school. We wear uniforms! (I actually need help with that too, but that will come a little later.) How can i be labeled preppy. Just beacause I wear hollister and stuff doesnt make me preppy, does it? I am not a blonde and I am labeled an airhead. The person that called me a prep was a guy, and I dont know if he likes me. Maybe. And, for the uniforms, I need tips on how to do my hair, accessorize and shop at.

if u wear Hollister then u DRESS prep, it doesnt mean u act it. Going into hot topic wont do anything. Preps r "scared" of Hot Topic (which is incredibly stupid) because where Hot Topic was once goth (actually....kinda fake goth, but goth none the less) now it has basically become 90% emo. And nobody wants 2 be emo!

Ask urself...are ur friends fake/shallow? Are they kinda stupid? Are you incredibly rich and spoiled and act like a ***** 2 ur parents? Will u go out of ur way 2 find a fault in someone 2 make fun of them? Will you only care about how people look? Will you only set foot in stores like A&F and Hollister and the like? R u materialistic? And will you only listen 2 pop, commercial r&b, some hip-hop, pop-rock and pop-punk? Does ur line up of shows all start on MTV? Will u wear pajamas and pajama shorts around 2 placed or checkered shorts? Will u wear a white bent brimmed hat? Will u wear colorful polos? Khakis?
Ask urself all of those questions.....if they're all true....
THEN UR A PREP!!!

It doesn't matter. There's nothing wrong with dressing like that! I love that style. You can dress as preppy as you want, just be nice to everyone. That's the way to live. For hair, there's a magazine called 'Hairstyle Guide', and they have a lot of cute ideas. Good luck!

Girl you have nothing to worry about. unless that is you don't want to be a prep! I am myself. but label as a prep but it doesn't bother me cause its just the way i dress. no matter what you do your ALWAYS going to be labeled, goth, emo, prep, ban geek haha everything. No worries just be fun and that boy just may like you. why not ask him? no hurt in that!

omg what a coinsidence. i wear uniforms and im called a prep too because of hollister and abercrombie and whatever. and i think the guy does like you. well you know what i think, who cares what ppl say? dont you think? well yeah i mean its hard to cope with guys calling you names and stuff, but i think yuo should just keep up with what ur doing, its not going to hurt you. hope it helps =]

uhh well i have thick and wavy hair so i straighten my hair alot and like wear headbands clips and sometimes even put my hair up. accesoriess --> uhm necklace and a bracelt

So what! I careless what people think of me. If you wear holey jeans wit stains -so what! lol My point is people who label should look at themselves. Most people who talk are insecure and need to judge and label others. Wear what you like -labels and all!

Oh emm gee! Everyone calls me a prep too! Like, maybe if u like dress more like an emo, and like pretend like ur sad all the time!! That's what i do, i sometimes go to hottopic and buy hello kitty stuff!
