I am doing a case study in Media at college and i would quite like peoples opnions as to the connection between various cultures and crime. With reference to movies, music and video games.

I'm not sure I am clear on what you mean by "gun culture". I do NOT believe guns cause crime, I think the more people that have guns the less crime there is.

No. If anything, the "gun culture" helps to ensure people have the necessary means, physically and legally, to protect themselves from crime.
