Better??
It's better to pay as you go.
But some items take a big bite out of you.
Such as furniture or a car, a big vacation.
It's best to pay these off with monthly payments.

Depends on how often you anticipate using the phone.....if you are just having it in case of emergencies, I would choose the pay as you go. But if you intend to use it daily & text, etc. the pay as you go will cost you a fortune.
