Tell your teacher it was a bad question.
Jews were treated very differently in various regions of the Nazi occupied areas. The strictest controls were in places like Poland. Overwhelming percentages of Jews were killed, and those who lived were put in concentration camps or restricted to life in a ghetto. In places like Vichy France and northern areas of Italy, many Jews were not restricted in their movements, as long as they clearly identified themselves as Jews.
Also, the time period matters. The Nazi party first came to power in the early 1930s, but the clamp-down on Jews did not get entirely into full swing until the onset of open hostilities with the Allied powers in 1939-1940.

During the middle part before the Holocaust began I'm pretty sure the Jewish religion during the Holocaust were not allowed to have bicycles, radios, to go to school, basically all their freedoms were taken away. This was only in certain places. Different cities had different rules. This is of course thanks to the evil man named Hitler.

No they werent. They had to stay on their front lawn. By 5 or 6 o'clock they had to be inside their house with curtains or blankets covering the windows... I had to study the holocaust too. I loved it. It was so interesting and sad at the same time.

Different restrictions were placed on the Jewish people in different places; I believe that one of the things they were not allowed to have in the Netherlands was a bicycle.
You really should read the book. It's an important piece of history. However, it's perfectly ok to say "Jews" if you are not being rude.

Left it to the last minute, eh?
Anyway, I seem to recall pictures from the European ghettos of Jews and bicycles.
